Through the viewfinder my eye captures the changing world around you. The energy in your steps, the light of your smiles, a brief embrace. The preparation, the anticipation, the exhilaration, the performance. And everything in between.

For the past decade, I have photographed all of the ballroom dancing competitions in which I have competed or that I attended. These have been collegiate competitions throughout the northeast including Brown University, Yale University, New York University, Cornell University, University of Connecticut, MIT, and the College of the Holy Cross. I have also photographed amateur dancesport competitions such as the Yankee Classic.
